TUSHY

Eco-friendly bidets for people that give a sh*t about saving the planet.

About TUSHY

Embracing a traditionally taboo topic with a great deal of humor, a welcoming spirit, and some of the most creative marketing we’ve witnessed (butt-focused and beyond), TUSHY transforms the average toilet into a blissful bidet, using a unique, clever product design and allowing everyone affordable, convenient access to a cleaner, better bottom. Bottom line, this brand is a must-have for all pooping humans (aka everyone, ever).

Why We Love Them

Hold onto your butts and get ready for one of the most transformative bathroom products on the market: the TUSHY bidet attachment. The TUSHY team has made it their mission to rid the world of disposable waste by introducing a more effective, more convenient waste management alternative, designed to brighten buttholes across the globe.

Origin Story

Miki Agrawal is one of the most impressive and creative women in business today. The author of four books, and founder of several social enterprises, she founded TUSHY in 2015 after an illuminating trip to India. After seeing the sickness resulting from a lack of affordable hygiene, Agrawal decided that she could do the most good by starting a business and sending the proceeds East. Today, TUSHY has become not only the foremost DTC bidet brand, but also a driving force building community bathrooms for the poor in India.

The Science & The Soul

The Science

Bidet technology has existed for centuries in Europe, but America has always seemed reluctant to widely embrace this cleaner, effective, healthier way of washing up. TUSHY seeks to change that fact, and to do so they designed a portable and easily-installable bidet attachment piece. It takes less than fifteen minutes to attach and install the TUSHY to a toilet. Once set up, the bidet uses a simple pressurized stream of clean water to wash your unmentionables when needed. No electricity, and no toilet paper means a better experience for you and for the environment.

The Soul

From its very inception, TUSHY has always had social involvement and change on their minds. They have partnered with the organization Samagra, who help build community toilets and washing facilities in India using proceeds partially given by TUSHY. Additionally, the use of a bidet is a socially-conscious act all on its own. Americans use fifty-seven pieces of toilet paper every single day. A single roll costs thirty-seven gallons of water, and a considerable part of a tree to make. Using bidets completely eliminate the environmental detriment. Clean butt, open heart, can’t lose.
