Even though age is a mindset, I am getting older, but I don’t necessarily want to show it. So, I try to challenge my receding hairline by keeping my hair as full and thick as possible.

4. Your momma isn’t the only one to blame for your male pattern baldness

In all reality, the gene for male pattern baldness can come from either side of your family. The gene that tends to be associated most strongly with this type of hair loss is the AR gene. And since this gene is found on the X chromosome, it could be passed down by either of your parents’ lineage.

6. Not all men experience male pattern baldness or start to go bald by the age of 50.

It’s not just a matter of time. As previously mentioned, male pattern baldness is primarily a genetic trait. Since all men aren’t going to have this gene, they won’t all start going bald.
