Rumpl's Original Puffy Blanket Review

The Original Puffy Blanket comes rolled up in a sack, which is also made out of reusable materials and waterproof, making it packable, portable, and easy to store. I’ve had mine for about a month, and have been pleasantly surprised at how many times I have used it both indoors and outdoors.

Due to its versatility, The Original Puffy Blanket affords the perfect amount of warmth needed for a variety of activities in any condition. I wrap myself up in it while having socially distanced outdoor get-togethers in the winter, and the C clip allows me to use it as a shawl while keeping my hands free. It’s packable and lightweight so I can bring it anywhere: to the beach, to the park, or even to the mountains. While it was for outdoor use, there is no reason to rob yourself of the warmth that the Puffy blanket supplies when you head inside. It’s a great partner for a long day with a book, in front of the TV, or drinking a glass of wine. I’ve also heard, if your imagination takes you there, the blanket works great for building forts inside.

The Original Puffy Blanket itself is warm and water resistant so it can easily be used in most cold temperatures, but Rumpl also sells the Down Puffy Blanket and the NanoLoft® Down-Alternative Blanket for additional warmth options. The Original Blanket is likely suitable for most climates, activities, and people, but if you’re going to be doing heavy duty camping, it may be worth upgrading to one of the warmer materials to be safe. All of Rumpl’s blankets are machine washable. You can wash the blanket on warm without damaging the water resistance layer. Either hang dry or toss it in the dryer on tumble low/no heat. I have no regrets bringing it wherever I go, even muddy locations, since I know it will keep its shape when I wash it.
